With its relaxed island vibe, long stretches of pristine white sand, turquoise water and spectacular rock formations, Seychelles is certainly what one would classify as paradise. It is simply as idyllic and remote as it looks in photos.
Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean with Praslin, La Digue and Mahé as the main islands. Mahé is the largest island with white sand beaches in Beau Vallon and rainforests and granite peaks of the Morne Seychellois.

Cyann and Adam & Eve restaurants at the Constance Ephelia Hotel are some of our favourite restaurants in the Seychelles. Serving French Asian cuisine, Cyann boasts a romantic and beautiful setting overlooking Port Launay Marine Park.

Cyann's cuisine is a blend of French culinary techniques and the lightness in local and Asian flavours. Dishes are plated beautifully and presented. The seared foie gras, trio of tartare and yellowtail ceviche are great options as starters.
The Red shrimp squid ink risotto, grilled Lobster and seared tuna are tasty dishes from the list of mains.
One can easily spend an afternoon or evening enjoying the delicious cuisine and relaxing ambiance at Cyann, with its waterside and sandy beach views.
Another favourite within the Constance Ephelia is the Adam & Eve restaurant. The concept of Adam & Eve is based around nature's four elements; earth, water, air & fire and as illustrated through its open-air dining space with water and dark wooden elements throughout. The menu is mainly focused on South East Asian cuisine - Malaysian, Singaporean and Indonesian flavours. Adam & Eve is a lovely spot for an alfresco lunch or dinner under the stars.

There are many delicious South East Asian dishes to choose from on the menu including the Seafood Laksa, Thai Glass Noodle salad, Tom Yum Soup, Satay beef, chicken and lamb skewers and Thai red curry. However the most standout dish was the Singapore Chili Crab, the sauce was the perfectly coated over the fresh mouth watering crab with the right blend of spice and heat.
If you are looking for traditional Creole cuisine and a place where time stands still, pop over to the island of La Digue. La Digue has an aura of rustic charm and tranquillity and is an hour and a half by boat from Mahé and 30 minutes from Praslin. Motorised vehicles are generally not permitted within the villages on the island with exploration only available by foot, ox carts or bicycle.
Le Nautique Waterfront Restaurant & Hotel in La Digue offers spectacular oceanfront dining and traditional Creole cuisine. From a la carte options to their Creole buffet, you cannot go wrong the bountiful selection.

Le Nautique is owned by Stuart and Natasha St Ange who have strong family roots in the Seychelles. Natasha's family farmed coconuts, vanilla and patchouli and even designed La Digue’s signature ox carts that you still see being used on the island. Le Nautique is both a restaurant and hotel and a lovely spot to spend the afternoon chilling poolside or having lunch on the oceanfront terrace.

There are many islands and wonderful places to explore in the Seychelles with plenty unspoilt bits of nature to take in. Just make sure you book yourself enough time to enjoy and relax. Once you feel the white sand between your toes and feel the sea breeze against your face, you will instantly be transported into paradise.
