From the moment you arrive, you know you are somewhere special, surrounded by the historical Flying Bulls aircraft fleet and a collection of Formula 1 race cars. Upon arrival, you are escorted into Hangar 7 with your boarding pass to begin your experience.
The menu at Restaurant Ikarus is created by a different International guest Chef each month. With ever changing menus from top chefs across the globe, Ikarus delivers this bold guest chef philosophy and style seamlessly. Executive Chef and Owner,Ryan Clift of Singapore's Tippling Club was at the helm that month at Restaurant Ikarus, creating a fun, playful and fresh menu. Chef Ryan's culinary philosophy is that "Eating is about enjoyment, having fun and being pleasantly surprised." and this was reflected in his menu creation and presentation of food and cocktails at Restaurant Ikarus.
Ikarus’ May Day Bar offers an innovative “Smart Food” concept in partnership with Swiss nutritional scientist Marianne Botta. There, you can sit on the terrace in the Hangar amidst the planes and F1 cars and watch other passengers board and take off from their private planes. You can choose from delicious yet nutritional dishes to enhance development for your Brain, Mood and Beauty.
Both the May Day Bar and Restaurant Ikarus bring pre-boarding dining to new culinary heights. If you are looking for a more casual but still unique dining experience, pop into the May Day bar for its Smart Food dishes and cocktails .
